I have a msi z690 pro series motherboard

This means that the i5–12400F only supports up to DDR4–3200 on H610 motherboards, but has unlimited memory overclocking (up to the physical limits of the silicon) on all other compatible motherboards (B660, H670, Z690).

I don't think so. I believe any BIOS version released after 7D25v11 will work as well. In other words, 7D25v11 is the minimum BIOS you need to work with your CPU.
