[SOLVED] If I have a M.2 and a hdd, how do I switch between them?

Although I do not have two different storages, I am curious to see how this works. If I wanted to download something on my hard drive, but when I boot I am on my M.2 how would i switch to my hard drive? Thanks

You use the M.2 for the OS drive and you just use the hard drive for the stuff you download. You don't have to switch between them.

the second hard drive is like a large folder in your PC
go to your browser settings and select that hard drive which you want to download your files in

No need to go to the BIOS to tell which drive is the storage drive, just make sure you install the OS on your faster drive i.e. NVME m.2 drive

The M.2 drive is "C:" and the HDD is "D:" -- They show up as unique devices. If you want to download to the HDD you choose it as your download location.

Multiple drives and drive letters are no problem.

For downloads through the browser, you simply designate a folder on that HDD as the default location.
My "downloads" go to a whole other system across the room, a shared folder on my NAS box.
