[SOLVED] If I use a bootable software like DBAN on a SSD, will it severly harm the SSD?

Following from what I said above, I was wondering if something like that would damage the SSD. I know SSD's can be very resiliant but those softwares were made for HDD devices, not NAND flash memory.
 
There is no longer any reason to use DBAN on any HDD or SSD, if ever there was. An ATA SECURE ERASE command is enough, assuming there is no bug in the firmware.

Some SSDs also have a cryptographic erase feature which can scramble all the data in 1 or 2 seconds. This command does not consume any P/E cycles. Instead it simply discards all copies of a security key.
