If I wanted to upgrade Ram can I buy the same ones and upgrade?

I have two sticks of 8 gb of ram so 16 gb of ram, and i want to upgrade to 32 gb of ram, so can i buy the same two sticks of ram and plug them in and they would work?

Maybe, but the manufacturer can't guarantee compatibility because they were not tested as a 4 module kit. The part number may be the same, but the components could have changed. If the previous kit is very recent, then the risk is low, but make sure that you can return the new kit if you run into issues.
