Hi guys,

I am pretty happy with current gaming rig but I am becoming less happy with the noise coming from the fans with certain games. My setup is as follows:
MSI GTX 970
FX-8320
8GB, 1866 RAM
I can play GTAV with most of the bells and whistles running but the tradeoff is it sounds like my PC is trying to take off. It's a minor issue but I wondered if liquid cooling would be an option to reduce fan noise. I am looking for some guidance as I think the full blown DIY kits are beyond me and I don't know how appropriate the pre made cooling kits would be and if they would have much of an impact on the overall noise level. All comments welcome.
Cheers

Hi mate!

Take a look to this thing:

I'm waiting for the release of the HG10 N980 in August for my Titan X... so I haven't tried it yet. But, after watching some videos from youtube about benchmarks and tests, It seems to reduce the heat around 45ºC... and combines air and water cooling.

You will need an All-In-One water cooling system from Corsair too. I'm going to buy the H110i GT for sure, but you should check if you have room to place it or a little one.

This solution is really easy to attach, isn't noisy and will let you to overclock your graphics card for less than 200 €.

On the other hand, if you want to cool your cpu and gpu, I recommend to...

On the other hand, if you want to cool your cpu and gpu, I recommend to you the Swiftech H220X. You should buy something like the EK attachment and many other things. It would cost more than 400€ in total. The EK is a bit hard to attach to the graphics card, but the Swiftech H220X lets you to expand the tubes and cool the cpu too.

Well.. that's all. Good luck with your decission.
