Question I'm confused about some aspects of Macrium Reflect backup software ?

Actually, even if not registered before, they say it still work as long as you don't check the box toregister it and press next. What I was asking is for the differences between that free version and the pay version.

Free has Full + Differential images.
Paid adds Incremental.

Macrium is one of those. (for me, anyway)

That check box simply means that it won't delete Incrementals if it would break up a set.

The web page you provided is not opening to me for some reason, but judging by its title I think it's something that I had seen too. Still I don't get that option really. I mean, it's off by default, and if there's a risk to break the chain, I think it should be on by default, no?

Yes, it seems to open very very slowly.
But it eventually does.
