Hey,
I have a Ryzen 7950X and I think that I am getting a low score on Cinebench r23
it's getting 34k points with stock, eco mode, and eco mode + curve optimizer on -20

the temps are around 80 - 95
The AIO that I am using is an iCUE LINK H150i LCD Liquid CPU Cooler

currently, I set the curve optimizer to -30 and eco mode to 170w and I get 36k +- on multicore
is that ok?

the mobo that I am using is an Asus STRIX X670E-E

Hey there,

So, you're not going to increase scores by using ECO mode. And I woulnd't be using Eco mode with an undervolt either.

When you say stock, what exactly do you mean? Have you only set PBO to run? What scores do you get then?

So temps are at 80-95 when using Cienbench, or in general terms?

Average seems to be about 38k on CB R23.

Also, don't get too hung up on syntethic benchmark scores. They can get you focused on the wrong things.

Hey thank you!!

I tried everything with eco and without eco
I updated my bios + reset the settings I still got a low score
the CPU speed is around 4.6ghz - 4.8ghz at multicore
and single core around 5.3 ghz
it will never reach 5.7ghz or even 5.5ghz
temps on idle are around 61+- at 5ghz
and on Cienbench is 95c

All core is a bit lower than average. Average seems to be about 4.9-5.1ghz. Have you changed any power settings?

When you update the bios, did yo u clear CMOS afterwords?
Yes I cleared CMOS
and i didn't change any power settings
this is on single core its max 5.2ghz and the temps are only 79c - 80c , I am not sure why he won't push to 5.5ghz+

There must be some motherboard limit. Try Setting PPT/EDC/TDC manually in the bios.
I tried setting them via ryzen master
and it does let me to set it up to 1k
so I tested the auto oc and it set everything to 1000 and it was worse it was down to 4.6+- ghz
any values that I should use?

Yes a bit low by the looks, that score is what air coolers get, but nothing to fuss imo.
Im using cineabench 2024 with my stock 7950x setup on Noctua air cooler and in multicore it yields 93% of the high online scores while drawing ~200watts constant and all cores range from 4.99 to 5.1GHz.
Id test the cpu in games and compare to online benchmarks and vids etc, benchmark isnt really that indicative of the cpus realworld performance.

Forgot to add in my above post that my CPU fans are capped to ~80% RPM to limit noise. Not that it makes a huge diff especially with good case cooling.

Hey, I am just giving the benchmark as an example because for some reason the CPU won't boost to 5.7ghz in a single core tests

additionally, I had this PC for 6 months and the ram speed was 7200hmz working fine
but now for some reason, it can't run it anymore at 7200mhz and its changing back to 4800mz... I am not sure whats going on

This shows 190W max while the official max is 170W (ppt) so your mobo is trying to push it higher than it should and your cooling can't handle that wich results in thermal throttling and lower scores.
Put it back to 170W max and the scores should improve, I mean you already said you get better results with lower settings.

I don't know what the max Amps should be and you don't show the max Volts, but my guess would be that if the mobo changes one it changes all of them.
