I'm planning on building my first gaming pc and was wondering if this build was okay.

I'm on a budget so I'm just trying to get the best that i can without paying too much.

I know, I'm still deciding on cases and power supplies and all that, just curious about how well the stuff that I currently have picked out will work.

Alright, first advice I'm going to give is go to Microcenter and check out their deals. They have sales on really important parts to your PC for up to $40 off without all these rebates and stuff. Assuming you have a keyboard/mouse, ethernet cable and monitor, this is gong to be my build based on the prices I see on Microcenter.

CPU: i5-4590 ($160)
GPU: GTX 960 refurbished (I use this one on my own PC and it works fine, it's from Newegg... $155)
MOBO: MSI h81m-e33 ($43 after rebate)
RAM: AMD r5 8GB RAM ($40)
HDD: WD 1TB ($40)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (~$40)
PSU: CX500m ($35 after rebates)

Total: $513
