[SOLVED] I'm planning on buying a new computer

Hi. I'm looking to buy a new computer. Sadly I'm not very adept regarding parts and such. All I know that generally prebuilt computers are considered scams. So I was wondering where I could ask people that are not viable to scam me like store clerks. I searched into google and founds this website.

I have a budget of 2850 USD and it needs to be able to ship to Sweden.

My ideal is for the computer to be able to play at 240 FPS at most FPS shooters, Rainbow Six Siege, CSGO, Titanfall. I also play some RTS games like Starcraft 2. I also play Total Warhammer 2 from time to time. I have no idea how realistic this is. Please advise.

Thank you kindly for any help or tips.

Edit - I play with 16:9 aspect ratio and generally want my games to have medium-high graphics. 1920:1080

Solution
AMD build has the superior CPU but the inferior GPU. GPUs get replaced more often, so consider that.

Covid is part of the problem. There was a brief shutdown or reduced working shifts in many of the factories supporting the PC industry.
Covid also led to a lot more people stuck at home gaming.
Silicon production capacity is not sufficient to meet all demand in the current market place.
There are new GPUs available from Nvidia and AMD, which are a significant improvement over previous generation hardware. Many people want to upgrade.
There are new consoles available this year, they use AMD APUs, so their weren't 5000 series APUs (yet), More people needed GPUs.
There is currently a drought in Taiwan, effecting all forms of production...
More then enough, and right now, pre-builts are pretty much the only option for getting a graphics card in a reasonable time.

16:9 is not useful information. Need the screen resolution. 1920x1080, 2560x1440, 3840x2160 (4K) etc.

If you could pick out local stores that do this, that might be better.

Here is something to start with to get some ideas, looks like they ship internationally. Small form factor PC, and I added in the the wooden crate so it can make the trip better.

No idea what the shipping cost will be, you will have to field that yourself.

Thank you! What site did you get this from so I could check it out myself? Again thank you I really appreciate it!

I agree that Origin PC is possibly the way to go. I was going to recommend a Lenovo Legion, with an RTX 3070, but they seem to be out of stock.

I did an AMD rig, with this build. A 5600x is superior to a 10600k.

All offer international shipping, though by quote it seems. And you may have to pay import duties.

I'm not familiar with any EU builders, usually point people to the UK builders, but most of them have stopped shipping to EU due to Brexit.

Alright I'll check out these two builds.

I have som basic questions I'd like to ask as well.

In regards to Covid-19 are the prices higher on parts because of it?

How long will I be able to use either of these two builds before noticeable wear and tear begins? This is a large expenditure I've been saving up for. My honest wish is for it to be able to at least work for 10 years before anything is completely unusable. Is this workable?

Is it possible to use a USB stick to transfer games over to the new computer and it working? I have some custom configurations done on my current computer and I'd like for them to stay.

Edit - What about storage drives. Which SSD should I use or does it not matter?

There is currently a drought in Taiwan, effecting all forms of production.
DDR5 production is beginning to ramp up so older fabs are being re-tooled.
The list goes on....

Wear and tear, fans can last upwards of 3-5 years under heavy use, but that is a minor expense to replace. If you use the system sparingly, many more years.
Good power supplies can have ten year warranties, typically 5-7. They may operate long after that. (They also have fans in them)
Graphics cards should be replaced when they no longer run the games you want at the resolution and settings you want.

With regular maintenance a computer can last ten years, but by that point it might not be as 'fast' as you would want.
Enthusiasts tend to upgrade every 3-4 years, but 7 years is more typical. 10 years usually means buying top of the line...which the above builds are not. (Though the GPU is close)

Steam libraries can be moved over pretty easily. Traditional installed applications, not so much, they will need to be re-installed.

You can try the User State Migration Tool (Or alternatives). It might be able to copy over certain user profile configurations which may contain your game settings (for some games)

NVMe SSDs are the current go to standard. A drive that plugs directly into the motherboard with no power or data cables. Connected directly to the CPU this gives it an unparalleled speed. 3.5GB/s transfer speeds are possible with PCIe 3.0, 4.0 is even higher. SATA 3 SSDs max out around 550MB/s and hard drives max out around 200MB/s.
Practically no user experience difference between PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 for storage, only if you have multiple storage drives that fast and access to something like 10Gbps networking does it matter at all. Games will load a tiny bit faster with a faster drive.

Solution
I've looked at the builds and they seem great. The only problem is the shipping and customs tax. The shipping and tax together comes around to 1000 USD rounded up. Which is way out of my budget.

I've been looking at the only Swedish site that sells computers that aren't a complete scam.

Could you guys take a look at these computers and the prices and tell me which one would be the best overall?

Which one of these is the best for the price and parts you get? Also if there is an EU site for building computers that aren't UK considering Brexit then I'd love to check around on that site as well.

Well, they are all decent.

i7 10th and 11th gen.
Ryzen 7 5800X
240mm AIO
RTX 3070, RTX3080, 6700 XT, all late model high end cards.
Corsair RM power supplies
NVMe SSDs (Though no idea why anyone needs a 980 Pro, very expensive drive)

Best of the bunch is the most expensive 5800X + RTX 3080, no cooler listed though? 4K gaming capable
Second would be the 5800X + 6700XT good 1440p gaming, ludicrous storage performance
Third would be the first one 11700k + RTX 3070, good 1440p gaming
Cheapest one is a fine system, just using less good parts.
