Question I'm thinking of buying a box fan and put on the side of the computer

I have the resolution 2560 x 1440. The GPu temperature is like between 60 and 66 degrees in 2560 x 1440. My room gets hot after about 15 to 20 minutes of gameplay. I lowered the resolution to 1920 x 1080 for like 15 to 20 min the gpu temperature was between 40 and 50 degrees and the room was getting cooler. I was thinking about downgrading to 1080 to keep the room cooler or get a portable air conditioner to stay at 2k. What would you suggest?

I wouldn't.
Because the PC components will always be above ambient temp. you will not get condensation forming.

The only possible way it would form condensation is if PC was off and you had AC set to max and placed PC directly on vent until case/components were cooled below air temp. Then cut AC and increase ambient temperature and RH almost immediately.

You use the PC
It heats up the air in the room.

Unless you vastly reduce the performance of the PC, it will still generate the same amount of 'heat'.
An AC pointed right at it, a different CPU cooler....still the same heat.

What you actually need to do is simple - Extract that hot air from the room.
A window fan on exhaust, sucking the hot air out.

I would expect the AC is running more often than the PC.
Unless one were to move the PC all the time, the AC blowing directly on the PC will cool the parts to below ambient.
 
it didn't do this crap before and now all of a sudden it's doing this. I can't play anything for a while before the room gets hot
the system would've been consuming the same amount of power and generating the same amount of heat regardless of time in use.
sounds more like you don't have adequate airflow in this room.

it's possible that it was a cooler time of year and your ambient temperatures were lower but that would be the only difference unless you have raised the system's voltages and are thus generating more heat now.

if it's cool outside where you live place a fan in the window to pull in that cooler air.
the room's ambient temp will be lower and more comfortable.

you can also experiment with different BIOS settings and lowering CPU & GPU voltage to produce less heat system-wide while still trying to achieve the same performance.

your only other option is to vent the room where the system is located's air to another location.
