I fried my pc , stupid PSU.... Now I want to upgrade from ;
FX -9370
Asus Sabertooth R2.0
2x Sapphire Tri-X R9 290X's
CM Stryker chassis
I don't want to down grade and I'm open to changing to intel if I have to.
I haven't been watching / reading reviews as there's soooooo many new CPU, MB, GPU I can't decide.
I want a fast CPU and mobo has to. Have lots of drive plugs with 3 GPU Running x16 lol
Please help guys because cpu and mobo most important thing for me right now.

Please be sure that all your components are actually 'fried' before you buy new ones.

Sounds like you're a gamer. Best route right now would be a nice LGA1151 chip and motherboard; AMD won't be a valid option until they release the Zen chips, assuming they will be what they're made out to be.

In that situation I would go with an i7-6700 (6700K if you're an overclocker) and a suitable 1151 board, Asus and Gigabyte are the brands I trust. Bear in mind, Skylake chips don't come with a stock CPU cooler, so you'll need one of those too.

I'm not aware of the status of bridges on 1151. I know the CPUs themselves can only provide 20 PCIe lanes.
