I am trying to run 4 monitors off my dell optiplex 3020. It ran fine on Windows 7 and after doing the upgrade to Windows 10 something seems to be off.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS with latest drivers installed. These 2 monitors work (HDMI, DVI hookups) using that GPU. But the moment I connect a monitor to the onboard VGA or DisplayPort everything goes black across all monitors. I can see the mouse but it tends to flicker.

Intel HD seems to be latest driver as well. The only thing I have yet to do is a BIOS update but considering this worked on Windows 7 I can't imagine that is the issue and I would like to hault from doing that if I can.

Hoping someone might be able to shed some light.

BlackHawk2,

Were you ever able to get all 4 monitors working. I have a custom built rig. I also have the same video card (GeForce 8400 GS 1024 DDR3 on Windows 10) The only way I can get my dual monitor set up to work is if I connect one monitor to hdmi and the other to vga. I can not get it to work if I connect to both the hdmi and dvi. How were you able to make your two monitors work on those hookups?
