Hello Tom's Hardware community!
I am currently looking to upgrading my geforce 660 to either a 960 or 970. My questions are:
1. Will either card perform well for these games?
2. Should I purchase the Zotac version or the Geforce version?
3. Do the Zotac versions allow shadowplay?

Thanks guys, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot shadow!

1. The GTX 970 can max out Battlefield 4 (Which shares the Frostbite 3 engine with Battlefront) so it should run Battlefront well on High/Ultra settings at 1080p.
2. By the Geforce version I assume you mean the reference, single fan blower style one. My GTX 970 was a reference style one and it was fairly loud when you turn the fans up. If you have good airflow in your case, I'd get the Zotac model.
3. All Nvidia cards above the GTX 600 series fully support Shadowplay.

Thanks man! I appreciate the input.
