[SOLVED] IMac Not Finding Ubuntu Bootable Flashdrive In Boot Menu

I have been messing with an old 2004 IMac attempting to install Ubuntu on it to breath some new life into it. I made it to the boot menu showing all the drives but my USB wont show up on the list, so it has just been sitting on my desk hopeless for a long while now. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this?

A Mac of that age cannot boot from a USB drive. It will boot from a Firewire connected drive or a CD/DVD.
