I would probably swap out the 13600k for a 14700, better CPU cooler as well. Better motherboard with better external I/O. And I am not a big fan of the high CL memory.

And I agree with Lutfij, better PSUs solve a lot of stability problems.

The motherboard has CPUless flashing of the BIOS. You will want to do this, all you need is a FAT32 formatted USB drive.

They have a handy video.


Anecdotally, I have also been told that you can sometimes boot into the BIOS using onboard graphics only. The PCIe lanes connected to the CPU won't turn on until the BIOS is updated. But that can't be relied upon.

The goal there was to bump you up to 8P cores and 12E cores for that little extra oomph over the i5. I don't really recommend the 14900 often, but that is an option with your increased budget.
