To convert/import a *.pdf file in to a Windows Word file you need a third
party application. If you have Adobe Acrobat version 6 {possibly also
version 5.05 or later}, you can open the *.pdf file and then save as a Word
*.doc file. Or you can use a *.pdf to Word converter to import the *.pdf
into Word. One such converter Sansoft PDF Converter 2.0 from:

A Google search may turn up others.

If I understand your question I'd d/l Cute PDF Writer to your desktop and
execute program. This puts an interface with my HP printer and whenever I
print a document I have a choice of going to HP printer or creating a PDF
file which of course I can read and also print if I want to.
