Hi guys , I'm not tech savvy ... I need a small help in interpreting the values provided in the CPU-Z program .

I've got 2 RAM slots in my laptop .... And currently it's just 1 that's being used and it's a 4GB DRR4 ... When I use the CPU-Z program in the memory/SPd tab it says DDR4-2666 (1333MHz) ... What does this mean ?

If I'm to expand my RAM , what is the type of RAM I'm supposed to buy ? Is it a 2666 mhz or a 1333 MHz ?

And also will there be any problem in installing 2 Rams with 2 different speeds ? iDK 🤔

Thanks in advance

Double Data Rate... so 1333x2 is 2666, your memory is running at the correct speed.

Memory is finicky and even adding in a exact kit may not even work so I'd be hesitant about using another kit with different specs/speeds.

So if I'm to expand the memory ... What is the Ram I should buy ? The speed of it ? Or the type ?
