Hi, so I just finished building my first PC a few hours ago =, and now I'm going through hell trying to get Windows installed.

At first I had the wrong Windows Install Media on my flash drive, but I figured that out and now I have the correct one. I thought it was smooth sailing from there, but once I finished my install, it restarted the installation process. I found my issue on a Microsoft forum (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...cted-for/40eed5a2-757f-4283-ae46-ea5d6c8098cb) and thought it was fixed, but nope. Asus customer support is closed for the night, Microsoft support kept redirecting me until they lead me to an office that is now closed. I also asked on the LTT forum (https://linustechtips.com/main/topi...nite-bios-loop/?tab=comments#comment-13936845).

TL;DR: I install Windows, my computer restarts, and I'm back at the beginning of the install and my SSD doesn't show up in the boot priority list in BIOS, just the flash drive.

What I've done so far: Cleared CMOS, cleaned my SSD through the command prompt during install, damn near cried.

I thought building the PC would be the hard part, but that was the easiest part of today. Please someone help, I'm frustrated and feel like I have no other options.

Here is an article on how to do it.
https://www.howtogeek.com/245610/how-to-check-if-a-disk-uses-gpt-or-mbr-and-how-to-convert-between-the-two/#:~:text=Locate the disk you want, which the disk is using.

Also, only just attach the boot drive and remove the other drive to avoid confusion.
I already have the SATA SSD disconnected. Also, when I am installing and go into the command prompt to partition my drive, GPT has the asterisk next to it, but I believe that after I clean the drive it no longer has the asterisk so I believe it is in MBR.

Edit: I am not 100% sure if it does not have the asterisk after the clean, I was trying to install windows for over 4 hours so I had to shut down and take a breather.
