In game, when clicking either the scroll wheel or right click button, the camera angle changes.

Hello,
When i'm in a game, whether its Cities: Skylines or CS:GO, when I click on the scroll button or the right mouse button the camera angle suddenly jerks down to a new angle (vertically downwards). It still does the right click function, it just does the camera thing too. I tried many mouses, different usb plugs, to no avail. What I also found was was when using Razer Synapse for my keyboard, I could set the "F" key to do the right click function but it still does the camera jerk. The only way I could use the right click function was by setting the "F" key or any in the In-Game menu. I've had this problem for a while :/. Could this be Windows? I asked the same on a windows forum, but the only person answering kinda gave up on me: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/right-click-on-mouse-is-changing-the-camera-angle/ca2b196c-52ae-4de5-806a-53e6b7724258 As you can see i've haf this problem for a while now and (if you read the last part) sometimes (not anymore) games like in metro 2033 the RMB worked! Sometimes the camera angle changed differently or less! It was really wierd. It may also be worth mentioning that in 3rd person games like Tales from the Borderlands or Shadow Of Mordor the RMB works perfectly fine.

Thanks a lot in advance :)

ps. I have no idea where the problem lies so I don't know if I chose the right category. Sorry.

If win 10 was an upgrade from a previous version and you didn't fresh install it since, its possible its a old driver playing up. A fresh install would answer that question I guess, You could try a reset first as its slightly less painful in that you can keep files and settings (not programs though), not sure what Windows does with the drivers at this stage, it might get all new ones or save a few that were already there. Only way to find out is do it.

If you have more than 1 hdd, back up anything youn want to keep onto the other one (s) and then d/c everything except C drive from pc as reset will wipe them otherwise. You can save steam folders and reuse them without needing to redownload them. Just point steam library location at old...
Do these problems happen if you remove synapse? Did they happen before you got a Black widow (guessing) keyboard? Synapse matches all Razer products so its possible their mouse software over rides your standard mouse software though it shouldn't

What gaming mice did you try? Most of them allow you to change functions of the scroll wheel button or any keys on mouse really.

Thanks for replying so fast!
If I remember correctly the problem happened around the same time I got the Keyboard (Black widow TE). There is no difference with or without Razer Synapse. The mouse I'm using is a Speedlink Ledos, the other mice I tried with were cheap Logitech mice.

i can't find any specific settings that applies to the mouse wheel's button exactly
can you look in mouse settings (settings/devices/Mouse & Touchpad) Additional mouse options (blue text at bottom of page)
In the buttons tab, do you have Clicklock turned on, it should be off (its off be default)

is it possible the settings are game specific? In Skylines, the scroll wheel button is used for camera controls, be that tilt, zoom or rotate, depending on your actions after pressing the button. Right mouse button just cancels current action. http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/255710/manuals/CitiesSkylines-UserManual_EN.pdf

I think the problem is likely to be the drivers but since they all use the default ones, it kind of sucks. I would buy a mouse from someone like Steelseries or Logitech (not a cheap one) who do make own drivers.. i didn't say Razer as their software can be just as bad as the default drivers

Sorry, I have been really busy lately, and this problem just slipped my mind as I haven't been a been to play many games.
Buying a new mouse isn't really an option right now. Where do you think the problem underlies? Do you think its the software of the mouse? I've had this problem for a while now and I am thinking it may work to just re-install windows. Do you think that would work? I just find it weird that the problem persists even with other mice. :/

to reset win 10, go to settings/update & security/recovery/reset this pc
2 choices, save files and settings, or wipe it all. I suggest first
PC will save a few files and then restart, and reinstall win 10.
