Hi all,

MSI P650p ms
be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W ATX 3.1 power supply,
couple WD SSD drives
NZXT 7 Flow (2022) case

The SATA cables are the usual ribbons, but the SSD drives are mounted flush on the backside of the case, so there's no way to attach a ribbon cable to the SSD drives, seems like an in-line connector would be the best way to go.

This is my first build in about 18 years, lst time was an i3570 with platter type HDDs in the front of the case, so hooking things up have sure changed a lot.

TIA

You would have to take one of the sata cables where there is a connector in the middle of the cable and tape the in and out connections together so that they basically lie flat and can connect to the drive. Messy but probably doable. Or you could use a really short extension cable where the drive end is inline and flat.

If you have 90deg cables they will not fit

Mod: will do it tomorrow

DWD999: Agreed, messy. Wonder if I could just cut off the excess? It's got 4 or 5 power connectors, I just need one.

BFG9000: thanks for that pic. Helps a lot.

Thanks, that'll do. Amazon?

Actually, in addition to the 2 side mounted SSDs there is also a drive cage in the bottom front for x1-2 more Sata drivez

Thanks gang, here's how it came out. Primary storage is the 2 P3 M2 drives, I had these laying around and thought they could be useful as backup drives.
