In new windows 8 how do you find printer properties

I have a network printer that other pc's and macs are connected but windows 8 could not find it. I have a netggear ps110 print server and has a disk for it. when i tried installing it, i get a severe error saying that i need to install the network protocol (net-bios or tcp/ip).
