[citation][nom]EzioAs[/nom]I wonder if bitfenix sends their raider case. I would love to see how that case compares with other cases around this price point[/citation]Fifteen cases and these are just the first five :) Unfortunately, I didn't see a single BitFenix case, even though they were invited.

That's too bad :(. Would you mind to tell us what other case did you guys get? I'm sorry if that's asking too much.

BTW, since when does MSI make desktop computer cases? I couldn't find it on their website

I think the almost black phantom 410 in the photos looks better than the white one. The 410 and the carbide 300R is more mainstream compared to the other 3 I think

You'll find out why in the full review coming soon.

[citation][nom]ubercake[/nom]This is the perfect type of article for the 'Teaser girl'. How many of these cases have anything exciting and new? The teaser girl could at least present them in a meaningful way.[/citation]Ah, but it's a good way to get rid of excess but meaningful photos.

The Midgard looks to be the relatively plain style I prefer, but with useful features like the drive dock. The Corsair looked sturdiest, but a little too plain.
Based on these pics alone, I'd choose the Midgard. The NZXT looked like a locomotive, and the InWin and MSI looked like junk.

Any Zalman cases included in the 15 cases reviewed? I just bought the Zalman Z9 plus for 34.99(on sale) that has all the options(maybe more) than these cases have, and I love it. The case gets great user reviews and hardware reviews from most sites as well. It's regular price is around 59.99 but usually goes on sale for 44.99 or 34.99 if it has a rebate attached to it as well. I think that the Z9 would probally make most of these cases overpriced for what you get...

PS: I included the links from NCIX.com instead of newegg since they were more expensive but if you wanted to see the user reviews from newegg, here you go.... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811235027&Tpk=zalman%20z9%20plus

EDIT: There is a new revision with USB 3.0 ports on it that just came out as well, the Z9 U3: http://www.zalman.com/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=493

[citation][nom]eddieroolz[/nom]Nice cases, though I chose silence over everything else with the P280[/citation]

P280 is an amazing case. Silent, cool, lots of room, easily accessible filtration for the PSU. It isn't a mainstream case, but it performs quite nicely.

The first company that makes a case that pays more attention to aesthetics than functionality, will make a lot of money. Ugly rectangles might give 8% better cooling, or 7.46% better usable space efficiency, but they're ugly, and I'm tired of looking at them. A lot of people are.

Make a case pretty first, and don't worry if it's a little less efficient, and you'll have big sales.

[citation][nom]Crashman[/nom]Antec 300 is sturdier.[/citation]
I had an Antec 300, quite a nice, yet simple and economical case. ...and it has the benefit of not looking like a toy. Corsair did well to mimic the design.
