Dear Community,

I am currently thinking about buying a new graphics card for my PC and am quite certain that my current PSU will not be powerful enough.

So here are my current specs:

  • ■ Intel i7 2600K
    ■ Kingston HyperX blue 16GB Ram
    ■ 2 x SSD's (one 60GB the other 128GB)
    ■ 4 Internal HDD's
    ■ 4 External HDD'S
    ■ DVD-ROM
    ■ Card Reader
    ■ 2 x 27'' Montors
    ■ Currently i have a super cheap ATI card but want to upgrade to a Nvidia GTX 760
PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 450W, 80Plus-Bronze -> is this PSU to weak for my setup?

What do you think. What would be a good solution for me. Of course it would be great if it is not all too expensive. But I also don't want a PSU that is loud!!

I would be really really greatful for your help!!!

PS: Which parts do actually take a lot of power? Do all the HDD's use a lot? I could also easily take out the DVD-Drive.

Best wishes,
Daniel

EDIT: The guy below me chose the right PSU, I gave the link to the wrong one. I corrected my mistake so the link here is the right one.
This PSU is modular, reliable, and can handle any of your components just fine.

It is also the best bang for your buck in terms of PSU's that I have ever seen. The parts that use the most power are the CPU and GPU. I am not sure how much power HDD's use, but they are no where close to the CPU and GPU in terms of drawing power.

Thanks a lot for the quick answers. The EVGA PSU's seem to be very good.
I just now read some reviews on AMAZON and quite a lot of people are complaining that it is loud. Have you made any experiences with the volume of the PSU?

Would it be harmful if I would try running the new Graphics Card on my current PSU?
