Hey everyone, sorry to be a pain on Christmas but I've stumbled across a weird issue with my PC.
I have recently built my current rig, it's only about a month old now. I'll start by listing my part list and OS.
I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64bit
CPU: i7-7700K
Mobo: Gigabyte Z170X Gaming-7
RAM: 16GB Kingston HyperX Fury 2666mhz
GFX: GTX 780 Ti
PSU: EVGA Supernova 650W G2
HDDs: 1x Seagate 1TB (ST100DM003-1CH162), 1x Seagate 80GB (ST380815AS)
and an LG DVD-RW optical drive
My OS is currently on the 1TB HDD; when I installed Windows I partitioned the HDD into 100GB and installed the OS onto that, and left the remaining space as another partition for all my large files. The 80GB HDD literally has nothing else on it and I've already tried to boot without it, to no avail.
The initial problem started because I wanted to change my LED colour to orange and keep it always on (I used to have it on blue pulse mode which got annoying when I wanted to connect stuff into the backplate in the dark). I thought changing the LED would be pretty much harmless, but after saving and restarting the PC, the system went into the blue windows 10 screen with the 🙁 sad face and the error INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE below.
My boot options are as follows:
#1 is Windows Boot Manager (P0: ST1000DM003-1CH162) - I'm assuming this is the partition I installed Windows onto.
#2 is P0: ST1000DM003-1CH162
#3 is P4: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS40 - and I'm assuming this is the DVD drive seeing as it says DVDRAM.
I haven't installed any updates since it was last working (yesterday night). Simply just went into the bios options today when I turned it on and changed the colour.
If anyone knows a fix to this then I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
