Everything was working fine until I was trying to upgrade RAM but realized the upgrades I got was not compatible with the motherboard that I have. so I reinstalled the old ram and it started giving me the "Inaccessable boot device" stop code. I remember where it started happening was when I was booting the pc normally and it powered off while it was booting windows.

I have been diagnosing the ram slots and using only one stick to see if it is a hardware issue, but no luck. I have also put the hard drive in another PC, and it boots, so it's not a hard drive failure. I have recently done a system restore using an older restore point, also no luck. I tried cleaning all the components and making sure there are no loose cables.

Thanks in advance for the help.

If you changed things in the bios like uefi/legacy boot options as well sata options like ahci, this can make things not bootable. I've been there myself.

Since the drive boots in another system, I would check what that other systems has set in its bios and match that.
Update your post to include full system hardware specs and Windows 10 version information.

What specific RAM upgrade did you attempt? Modules and slots?

Old RAM specs and configuration?

New RAM specs and configuration?

[Moderator Note: Moving post from Windows 10 to Memory.]
