*Sorry if this is too descriptive but I desperately need immediate help.

I have a Windows 10 PC I shut down one night then the next day I had a blue screen (stop error) saying my computer had an "INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE" error.

It restarts saying Preparing Automatic Repair and comes up with a screen which I have a few choices of where I can fix it from. Sometimes it also comes up not showing me the choices but says something like "Repairing Drives". When I come to the choices screen it gives me an option to "Continue to XboxSystemOS". That is the name of my Xbox and also I tried to get a virtual drive to run on my computer and there are a few shell files on my computer that look like an Xbox, but they never worked and were never named XboxSystemOS... I made a Recovery USB and I changed the BIOS options for it to run the USB 2nd to first (There's a UEFI thing I can't move the USB up to and I can only disable it, which I didn't do since it felt too risky...). I tried to use my System Restore point I had made 4 days ago. It ended up in an error (also when it asked me to select the target operating system and there wasn't any Windows option but only a XboxSystemOS option...). I have tried to boot into safe mode... no use. I tried to open it using the options. I went to Troubleshoot, then Advanced Options, and then to Startup Settings. (UPDATE: This doesn't show anymore for some reason...). If there is another way to get to safe mode, please tell me. I don't want to factory reset it but if I have to then I will.

Also if you need to know the Recovery USB was made from a Vizio Computer and I had put it into my HP Pavilion 23 go13w which is the one I am trying to fix. Please help and thanks!

OK, so I kinda fixed my computer... My computer is made from HP so it came with a Recovery Tool (if you don't have a HP computer you can probably find a download on the internet), but when I did that my files weren't backed up but only pictures were... And my pictures aren't really that helpful as I had software that I can't even find anymore! So I'll be fixing that part and send a comment but remember, if you need your files to be backed up then try something else to solve your problem. Thanks everyone for replying!

You can try restoring your BIOS settings to factory defaults, that may work but there's no guarantees on that.

Aside from that, it sounds like the entire pre-OS environment is shot. Just reading your description made me cringe a little inside, not your fault, but this is pretty much a mess at this point.

Follow this guide to do a clean install the OS: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-do-clean-installation-windows-10

In the future you'll want to consider a backup solution for your machine, there's many free ones out there too so no need to break the bank. One's like Rollback Rx and Macrium Reflect are worth picking up on their own or together (why not)

Ok, I'll try to do that. I'll tell you what happened. Thanks for the reply!

UPDATE: I just tried this but it didn't work. And for the clean install of the OS, if you're saying for me to plug in a USB then that won't work. As I said before, I tried to run the MediaCreationTool by plugging in a USB but that didn't work. Thanks!

I can't really say as I didn't see exactly what you did. Read and follow the directions of the guide: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-do-clean-installation-windows-10

I tried to change the BIOS to default like you said but it didn't do anything and if I plug in a USB with the file (said in the website guide you gave me) it won't do anything. The Blue Screen will come and the same thing will happen again.
