Hello.
I had a GTX 650 and changed for a Zotac GTX 1060 AMP edition, but it's not recognized by motherboard, an ECS H61H2-M2 (v1.0). The 1060 spins the fans normally, but the output video on the onboard video card. I already tested the card on my friend's computer and it works normally. First I thought the problem was the motherboard bios version, so I upgraded it, but the most up-to-date version is December 2013. The PSU is a Corsair CX 550, so the power supply is not the problem.

Solution
Oh ok

There's not much else to try.

Either flash went wrong somewhere or this motherboard just wont operate with 1060

Agreed, your mobo wouldn't be the problem.

You said onboard video works, can you check your bios for graphics and see what the setting is for graphics priority. It would be something like Pcie/Peg, Igpu/integrated, both or auto.

If on auto try Pcie/Peg only. Pcie or Peg same thing, some mobos call it Peg and others Pcie or Pcie express.

If you still dont get video, remove 1060 and remove cmos battery.

Check your display cable is connected right. What cable you using?

I already tried the clear CMOS. I'm using HDMI cable. I think the cable is not the problem, since the motherboard does not recognize the video card and uses the onboard.

Had a look at your manual, you do have the option to turn the igp off which would be the same as enabling Pcie by default..

Initiate Graphic Adapter (Auto)
This item allows you to select graphics controller to use as the primary boot device.

Disable igp, if you still get no video clear cmos so igp is turned on again, obviously you wont have no video to look at ;P

The HDMI is conected to my monitor.
My bios doesnt has this option, I can only manipulate the dedicated memory.
With my old GTX 650, when I connected it into motherboard, it was automatically changed to offboard.

No. The cable is different from GTX 650, but is the same i'm using to conect on motherboard. Yes is the only cable.
I don't have a DVI cable to conect.
My monitor is a LG 23MP55

Oh ok so you've been using a vga cable for the old 650 and mobo? Specs for your mobo doesn't include hdmi just vga and dvi.

So now you're going hdmi for the first time right?

I'm looking at your monitor manual now, is it the p55HQ version? Just to see if the monitor auto detects analogue/digital signal or you need to change it either via menu screen or toggle button.

If your TV has hdmi try that.

Looking at this manual

http://www.lg.com/au/support/support-product/lg-23MP55HQ#manuals

Can choose the input signal.

Input exit button

• When two input signals are connected, you can select the input signal (D-SUB/HDMI)
you want.

• When only one signal is connected, it is automatically detected.

The default setting is
D-SUB

Select input to Hdmi, think when both cables are connected (hdmi and vga) it defaults to vga. Disconnect vga cable from the monitor as well if you still have it connected.

But why the cable would be the problem? The problem here is: Integrated Graphics should be disabled when a graphic card is connected to motherboard, what is not happening, and the motherboard is not recognizing the card.

Oh ok sorry i just loaded this page and seen the picture showing no hdmi port lol. You're right though the specs for it does mention hdmi but optional?? What, so theres a different same board with hdmi? Why would they do that.

Your manual: http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_DOWNLOAD.aspx?DetailID=1228&CategoryID=1&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=24&LanID=0

Page 41: Integrated graphics adapter (Auto)

In the description on the right it says you can change it to IGFX or PEG. Hit enter on the integrated graphics adapter and you should see those options. It should auto detect yes but try force it and see what happens. If you force it to Peg it will disable integrated and if still no display reset cmos so it goes back to Auto.

Why the video cable. If your monitor behaves the same way as the one i thought you had it defaults to vga (if both hdmi and vga are connected), just the way it's designed. Just make sure the input in the monitor menu is set to hdmi not vga.

I see, that's strange. The first option for Initiate Graphics Adapter is missing. Look at the manual link page 41 you'll see what i mean.

Since you updated the bios its possible they removed it or is it in another location? I have no idea.

Edit; Hangon so with the card not in you get those options?

When it was gtx 650 the option appeared, so it was to appear with gtx 1060 as well, but it's not appearing because the motherboard is not recognizing the graphics card.
