Incompatible RAM or faulty CPU

Hey guys, so I'm not entirely sure what the problem with my pc is but I feel I have narrowed it down to one or two things.

But first thing's first. The issue I've been having is the my games having been either crashing to desktop (such as Rocket League or Counter-Strike), other games (such as PUBG) have been causing my computer to completely freeze the system where I hear a loud glitching sound and my screen gets stuck and the pc just hard resets itself. League of Legends is the only game where it continually BugSplats. I have installed new components on almost everything but the Processor and the Power Supply. I have given up trying to determine what the issue is on my own and now find myself here hoping to find some help. I should note it only occurs when I am gaming.

Looking at Event Viewer (no idea what I'm looking at) I have found some crashing readouts and this particular one happened to Rocket League:
Faulting application name: RocketLeague.exe, version: 1.0.10897.0, time stamp: 0x5b26d0b4
Faulting module name: RocketLeague.exe, version: 1.0.10897.0, time stamp: 0x5b26d0b4
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00069432
Faulting process id: 0x2904
Faulting application start time: 0x01d410edaaf48d37
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rocketleague\Binaries\Win32\RocketLeague.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rocketleague\Binaries\Win32\RocketLeague.exe
Report Id: da08995e-2001-4d74-b3a6-dcce64d290b9
Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID

The majority of what I see on Event Viewer are Windows Error Reports, Security Center, LoadPerf, Security-SPP, ESENT, and every now and then CAPI2.
Some of these may be normal but I honestly don't know. Any help would be appreciated.

I also would sometimes get a bsod with a veriety of things but mostly IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL and sometimes get a loud glitch click sound I hear through the headset when I turn on my PC.

Specs: i7-6700K, asus z270-i Mobo, gskill trident z 16 gb RAM, gtx 1080ti, Corsair sf600 power supply.

Edit: I just BSOD when trying to load into a game twice. The first one was from Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap and directly after that I tried loading into a game and quickly got the System Thread Exception Not Handled with the cause being nvlddmkm.sys.

Solution
just for giggles try running with a single stick, I'm assuming you have 2 x 8GB modules. pull a stick and see if the same happens, if so switch the sticks and give it another go.
you can test the CPU now that the RAM has checked out. no errors how many passes did it complete?
https://www.passmark.com/products/bit.htm
this is the burn in test it will stress the PC, if the hardware is failing this will tell ya.
random errors in windows could also just be windows errors. how old is the install?
have you tried the system in another OS. you can boot linux off of a thumb drive and run from there for testing.

Boot to a USB drive with linux on it. grab a USB drive, a copy of rufus and a linux distribution.
http://distrowatch.com/ has tons of differing linux distributions and download links. I personally am fond of linux mint with cinnamon.
https://rufus.akeo.ie/ the utility used to extract the ISO file to the USB drive.

use rufus to extract the selected ISO to the tunmb drive. it will make the drive bootable and you can run linux from the drive once done.
Reboot into linux and proceed to test the hardware. connect to internet, watch videos, await problems.
if linux is good and stable the issue is most likely inside windows or otherwise software related.
this is a test of the hardware.

An error actually popped up while running the burnintest and forced me to close out of the test.

Does any of this mean anything to you?

Well I just updated a couple drivers and ran the test again and got no errors this time. I'll give the pc some time to see if this resolved my errors. But I will say I have installed this Windows 10 OS on around 5 pc builds now.

What you explained there is a ram issue all you have to do is remove the ram clean all the dust off the ram and the ram slot use a tooth brush, and if it doesnt work just turn the computer off then wiggle the ram softly then turn it back on, keep trying, do not wiggle when its on it will crash the computer, if doesnt work let me know, Im 100% sure this will work because with at least 3 computers that ive had, I turn the computer on and wiggle the ram WHILE ITS ON and it does blue screen with this weird sound, so for sure its ram. If it happens during gaming then it means that its using more ram, it also may be your graphics card, I used to play games on my 256mb onboard graphics and I couldnt play for 30 mins without the game freezing and the computer restarting, but after I upgraded the graphics I have NEVER had any issue with games freezing and crashing computer or blue screen, I think its because of the low graphics memory I have it may be the same issue with you, how much graphics memory do you have? ALSO that IRQL error I fixed just by doing the ram wiggle trick I explained above

Issue is persisting even after running the stress test and finding no errors. I have a gtx1080 ti so it shouldn't be gpu memory. I am beginning to wonder if my ram is simply overheating even though I feel this should be determined by the memtest and stress tests. When I am browsing the web I also often get whatever pages I am on, refreshed on its own for whatever reason.
