i am buying a new motherboard but the slots fitting on back of motherboard are different than the case. See Image - View: https://imgur.com/a/Y7Sjs0A

ex: it has two usb ports at bottom while my case dont have space for them.

also my psu has different power connector for supply (rounded one View: https://imgur.com/a/7FDY5Cl
just like headphone but thick and small) while new motherboard has different conncetor of green color. will i have to buy a new power cable too?

The HP Power Adapter 90w is a power adapter for a laptop. You can't plug that on your board. You need a desktop PSU.

The green connector you see on the motherboard at the back is an audio jack for headset and speakers. You don't connect power to that unless you want to fry your system.

The two power connectors on this board is a 24 pin and a 8 pin.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include the specs to your build. Please list them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:

We're going to need that info to understand what it is that you're doing wrong.

CPU: AMD Athlon 200ge (upgrading from pentium G630T dual core)
Motherboard: MSI A320M Pro VD/S AM4(upgrading from Pegatron Mini-ITX )
Ram: 8GB ddr4 2400 mHz(upgrading from 4 GB ddr3 1033 mHz)

SSD/HDD:500GB HDD 5400 RPM
GPU: Nil
PSU: HP Power Adapter 90w (will upgrade it to cx450 in coming months)

  • Height: 35.5 cm (14 inches)
  • Width: 16.5 cm (6.5 inches)
  • Depth: 38.1 cm (15 inches)
That's All.

My Old Processor is 35w while the new one is also 35w so i don't see if there would be any problems with it.

The Green Port i was referring is at bottom with 2 usb port (half green/half blue , PS/2 port). the adapter i have fits into my current motherboard in PC(maybe the motherboard is of Laptop then). Is there any way i can connect that power adapter to my new motherpin using some connector or convertor and anything else. i dont have and budget left to buy a new PSU now.

Sorry. That power adapter is for a laptop battery. Cannot be used in any ways for a desktop motherboard.

The Green/Blue port is for legacy keyboard and mouse and the two usb beside it is for your usb keyboard and mouse.

Your information on the chassis seems to be incomplete. To add, the PSU you're looking at is meant for a SFF system, akin to an Antec ISK110 or a small form factor proprietary prebuilt system. Yes it(as stated prior by @Nemesia) will also be found on a laptop, meaning you can't use it without the correct adapters and breakaway units.

The cost of such adapters/units will be more than just buying an (reliably built)ATX PSU off the shelf.
