[SOLVED] Increased ram now less space on c drive??

I have just increased my Ram from 2 x 8 gb to 2 x 16gb, and immidiately noticed that my available space on my m.2 c drive went from 192gb to 182gb. I have done the usual clean up etc but made no difference. Is this normal when upgrading ram?

Ram has no relation the data being stored on your SSD. If anything, if you're on Windows 10, it's probable that you got an update which is now occupying space on the storage drive.

You might want to make sure you're on the latest BIOS for your platform.

Might be that Windows has increased the size of the virtual memory swap-file (pagefile.sys) now that installed RAM is double what it was previously.
