Hi,

I have an HP 250 G2 and I tried upgrading the ram to 8 GB, it didn't work and that's why I'm here. It runs Windows 10 64 Bit. It has only one slot for the RAM to be installed. Right now it has a Samsung DDR3 12800S, i tried installing the Corsair Vengeance DDR3 12800 1600MHz CL10. I can't understand as to why it won't work. I tried the Corsair on another laptop(Toshiba) of mine and it worked, I even tried the Samsung one on that laptop it worked. On my Toshiba I had two RAMs of 4GB and I tried them both on the HP laptop and they didn't work. I just can't understand why that Samsung RAM is the only one that works on the HP laptop. I even tried updating the BIOS, installed the Corsair again and still didn't work... I really don't know what to do, I don't know if I should do something with the CMOS battery, I can't find it anyway meaning I have to remove the case?
