Infinite money theory GPU

I would like to know what the most powerful card would be able to be installed in a single slot configuration. Pretend money doesn't matter.

I am aware that the most economical solution would be improve the motherboard/case, so that a dual or triple slot card could be used instead. However, for the sake of the chase, presume this isn't possible. (Maybe this machine is hooked up to an industrial component that depends on this computer, or invent some other reason.) Also presume that the card must be compatible with PCI Express 2.0 x 16. Also, card length and cooling doesn't matter. Pretend this is an open case build with massive quantities of chilled air being moved past it.

Also, this GPU must be available for purchase in the United States of America.

For 1080p gtx 1060 Rx 580 gtx 1070(for long lasting )
1440p gtx 1070(low budget ,around 60fps) and 1080(above 60fps if u have high refresh rate monitor)
4k gtx 1080ti or 1080(playable , settings must set down)

I intend to optimize for everything, but when it isn't possible, optimize for video rendering and simulation (think folding@home)

Could you be more clear? The GPUs that you have listed appear to be double height GPUs if I read your post correctly.

I can't seem to find a US supplier of this card. It is listed as out of stock on GALAX's own website.

What u mean? cant understand. U said the card dimensions doesnt matter right?

I'm not trying to pair that kind of card.

parani, I mean that the cards CANNOT be a double slot card. Almost all other dimensions don't matter, though. The cards that you have posted appear to all be double slot cards.
