I installed the latest security update and my computer keeps trying to restore previous versions of widows,I can't make it past BIOS screen and I've tried installing Windows 10 off of a new usb but it just says "cannot find product key". I have a custom built PC with recently updated parts that worked great until the automatic Windows update made my computer stuck in a loop where it won't Pass BIOS.

Solution
The trick with the licence key now is its all stored on Microsoft servers, so when you reach screen asking for a key, you choose "I don't have a key" and win 10 will continue install and then check servers to confirm your licence is legit.

Can only turn windows update off if you have Pro, it is a lot harder on Home.

If this happened to me, I'd restore from a recent full system backup I made with Macrium Reflect. I use the free (non-commercial use) version that has worked flawlessly for me for several years.

You can answer that you do not have the product key. Once it is installed it will pick up your key from your prior install...my brothers computer is having a similar issue. Tried a few times but ended up turning off windows update for now until Microsoft has some kind of fix for this.
