I agree ... we need to be better human beings to get respected by other cultures when there is a clash like this.

I sincerely hope Libya hets back on its feet and forms a moderate government, and moves on.

It would be a decent good news story for the rest of the Arab countries in the region.

Gadaffi was a pimple on the arse of the world for so long ... jeez ... I remember writing an essay on the mongrel when I was in high school in 1978.

He tortured and killed so many people along the way we should buy the guy who double tapped him a house, and hug all the French jet pilots who took out the convoy.

That tosser from Syria should be next on the list ... he has killed over 3000 of his own people in the last 6 months ... and those are...
Put yourself in their shoes for a minute. Youve been fighting for the last 6 months and are injured and American team of doctors gives you medical care. Wouldn't that improve your view of America, and maybe your families for saving your life?

Besides those are borderline inflammatory remarks the article you provided said:

The U.S. Department of State said Thursday that 30 seriously wounded Libyan fighters will receive U.S. medical care since they cannot be successfully treated in their home country.

So these people are probably seriously wounded to the point where they all would have died of their injuries.

Also remember the Hippocratic oath these people took?

There is a medical help in there from GB, IT,USA and NATO itself, in there already.

I agree with all u wrote, but all that could be done on the ship hospital down there.

I agree with Oldmans concerns considering we've been in this position before.

But those are 30 people and their families that have a better view of Americans. This is how we make friends.

And when you really break it down even if we are fighting these people in 6 months at least we were the grown ups in this situation.

And personally I would have been appalled if we did nothing to help.

Right, but the help is there already.

I can understand, that it is some PR, but look at Iraq and Afghanistan, no one like's the west world more than before that.

They will appreciate that, sure, for while they will. But the help is there!

What kind of leader puts snipers on the roof of buildings to kick off peaceful protesters?

A cowardly one.

Move the Nato fleet East to Haifa and finish the job guys ...

Agree, and today, we know that Syria will be no easy ending... Got even worse.

Not sure why you are so quick for nato to go oust a leader that has killed thousands of his own people by bombing and killing thousands of people in the process.
