Hi,

I will try as short as possible to explain. I buy new printer Canon Pixma G2420 and buy Glossy photo papers 10x15cm in two different GSM-s one is 150gsm (g/m2) and second one is 220gsm.

  1. 150gsm print perfect black and color
  2. 220gsm color is perfect but black have some artifacts

I will scan both photos corners where is black and add here:
(I don't want to put whole pictures because)

And now you will tell me that printer can't print ticker papers then 150gsm. But you are wrong, I buy Glossy paper 13x18cm 220gsm and the same picture have perfect deep black color ???
I use Canons Easy-PhotoPrint Editor to print images and try all types of paper in software and always is bad black color when use 220gsm 10x15cm

I also tried in maintenance settings to set prevent paper abrasion setting, nothing...

Please help
Thank you

Contact Canon support as the first step, did you try that? What did they say? Did you try more than one brand of paper?

I didn't try another brand paper, Today I print also A4 and it's perfect but, this small pictures 10x15cm is so weird. I buy new stack of 13x18cm papers and no problem, but I try to understand what is problem with this black color on 10x15cm papers
