Hello,
Since I installed Linux Mint, Keyboard and Mouse do feel kinda sluggish, compared to windows. Especially, in cs:go It's really annoying, because the whole input reaction is delayed to about 250ms, which is fatal in Multiplayer FPS games. I also tried to increase the mouse polling rate to 500mhz, but this didn't help at all. Is there a way to get rid of these lags?

@spankmon
I didnt feel like it helped, the input is still delayed, at least ingame

@skittle
I disable multicore rendering, but this didnt help, its still reacting slower than in Windows, it didnt change anything.

Have you tried using the "-high" and/or "-low" startup option flags in CS:GO?

[edit -- update]

It turns out that in Linux you can't use the on-the-fly DPI switch. You need to configure it on Windows, after which it should work just fine. For good measure, I'd disable the DPI switching buttons as well. When you go back into Linux, it should theoretically work like a charm. The same should apply to the keyboard. I know this worked for me with all of my 5 Razer mice and 1 Razer keyboard.

There is no ofgiciap Driver for my Mouse by gigabyte. I am forced to use the Default Microsoft one, plus there is no software from them to disable it, therefore I can't do this. The button has 3 preset Speeds which I can't modify, because they seem to be hardcoded and completely mouse-intern. Also it does reset itself to the default setting every time, I unplug it/ turn off the pc, which is A pain in the butt, because it's the hightest setting.

Sorry, but I don't really understand what you mean with "disable up/down "sensitivity" button...

UPDATE:

today I realized, that it maybe isnt even the mouse itself, thats delayed, but maybe just the mouseclicks. Sometimes the system doesnt recognize a mouseclick when I press the mousebutton too short(Still long enough that windows would still definitely recognize it), is there a way to shorten the time a mouseclick needs to be to be recognized?
