I'm looking to get some input and constructive criticism on making a performance PC.
I intend to use it for gaming and 3D modelling primarily.
$2800-3000 is my budget.

Thoughts on this build?

Also take a look at the Swiftech H220x

Switched out the SSD for a Samsung. Samsung SSDs have the lowest RMA rate and have the best performance. With this particular SSD, you get +16GB storage, and better performance: http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Samsung-850-Pro-256GB-vs-Corsair-Neutron-GTX-240GB/2385vs1404

And the case, I switched out for an Enthoo Luxe, mostly because I'm a big fan of the Enthoo series: http://youtu.be/cQOPK-OgvnM

For the PSU, I find the Seasonic PSUs pretty overpriced especially when EVGA can go toe-to-toe at much lower prices. Granted, you most likely won't come anywhere near 1000W, but the PSU is also cheaper while maintaining Platinum efficiency.
