Question input not supported after cable change?

last week i changed my VGA cable. Every time i want to open a game in full screen the monitor goes black and says input not supported (before cable change it worked on fullscreen).

Why did you change the cable? What did you change the cable TO? Is it the same type of cable? Exactly the same?

What TYPE of cable is it, HDMI, DVI-D, DVI-I, Displayport, VGA?

1.My old VGA when i connect it to monitor it will say no signal (only if you bend it it will have signal)
2. New VGA its more thicer and gives me more resolution and refresering rate options
