Input not supported

I was watching a video on YouTube, when my monitor went black, and a blue box popped up saying "Input not supported". I restarted my monitor, But it still had the same blue box, I restarted my pc, but the box was still there. HELP ME !!!!!!!!!

Operating system: windows 7 Professional 64 bit Ram: corsair vengeance 16 gb (2x8) hard drive : seagate barracuda 2 tb. cpu: intel Core i7 3820 gpu: AMD radeon r9 280 x motherboard : asus sabertooth x79 monitor: Acer g246-HYL. Don't know if this is what you meant, I suck at computers, so Don't get frustrated.
