-Howdy all and happy Monday. I put together this build from Newegg and was curious on any thoughts from the community. I want to make sure a couple things on this that i know y'all can help with.

#1: Will all this stuff fit the case and work together.

#2: Am i missing a better/more efficient choice for my money?

I want to stick with AMD processor, the rest is flexible. Thanks in advance, have a good one.

Is the 450W power supply in my first post enough power? I want to stick with Gold or Platinum certified PS if at all possible, that one looked like a good deal.

For that system you would want 550w minimum. FYI the gold/platinum rating is referring to the efficiency of the power supply from the wall through the psu so all a higher rating does is save you some money on the electric bill. I usually stick with XFX or Seasonic for quality but you wouldn't find a gold rated 550w for them under $80 or so.

-Yep, i'm familiar enough with the ratings to know what they do, i prefer to not consume quite so much energy where i can save it.

-Hmm, the PCPartpicker link above states something about incompatibility. Should i look for a different case or does it look fine?

Maybe someday i'll stop asking silly questions.

The first possible incompatibility is support on the 970 board for the fx series CPUs, I have already double checked on the board and the fx-8320 is officially supported out of the box so there should be no problems there (no need for a bios update before the cpu will run).

The second is that the Antec three hundred Illusion doesn't have a front USB 3 port but the motherboard has a connection for a front USB 3. IF you want a fron USB 3 port then you should consider a different case, otherwise it doesn't matter.

The third is just saying that they don't know if the cooler will fit in the case (that message is always there for coolers). Everything I have read indicates that the Antec 300 Illusion has enough space for the CM 212 Evo
