Question about "Thia message running through my oc screen."

Overclocked? Please provide more detail.

= = = =

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Make and model display? How connected?

Some monitors have their own drivers - check the display manufacturer's website.

Manually download, install, and configure.

This screen?

https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkVision-Widescreen-Backlight-2572MB6/dp/B005ZGX2C2

Appears to be a very old product. Where purchased?

Reference:

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/...wide-22in-led-monitor/2572/downloads/ds001735

And you do mean the entire product which is a monitor but could also be described as a display. Screen could be used - however, the screen is a part or component of the entire monitor/display.

Replacing a monitor is one thing. Replacing just the screen is repair.

What was the problem, if any, that caused you to replace the monitor?

How is the monitor connected to its' host computer? VGA, DVI-D, DP? Be sure that you are using the correct cable, connection ports, and configuration settings.

I found this link for the drivers:

https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds001735-lenovo-l2250p-22-in-wide-monitor-files

Very old.

You may not be able to configure the computer setup for the desired/required resolution.

I found the monitor's User Guide:

https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/visuals/lt2252p_ug_eng.pdf

Verify that I found the applicable User Guide.

According to Page 2-7 the monitor supports 1680x1050.

It does not support 1920 x 1080.

Provided that I understand the overall situation it appears that you will need to change the iGPU or GPU configuration to use 1680 x 1050.

You would make that change by using the GPU Control panel.

That being the highest resolution that the monitor supports.
