So I have a RTX 4080 I've been using with the Uperfect 2k 144hz Portable monitor, it has been working great for a month now. So 3 days ago I wasn't getting any display anymore, trouble shooting I thought maybe it was the Bi-directional cable as my GPU was working no problem through HDMI-Mini HDMI on the monitor so I ordered another cable. I get the new cable today and same issue no display out using any of the DP ports on the GPU. I thought maybe something was up with the monitor so I used my phone into the USB-C ports and it worked no problem. So I hook back up the Bi-Directional cable again and the damn thing heats up on the Display Port plug and starts smoking?!?! WTF is going on anyone familiar with using these types of cables with a Portable USB-C monitor? I travel for work so I have no access to an actual monitor to trouble shoot in that regard.

These are the cables

usb-c should be working both, but still only one provides PD-USB and therefore could be faulty and lead to melting the cable and other stuff

eventually it´s still a display port pin 20 thing , which shouldn´t be connected inside the plug

Pin 20 should be connected on adapters, that's the purpose of it.
