[SOLVED] Inspiron M731R Motherboard Upgrade

Hello all!
Im pretty new to doing a full upgrade to a computer. I have an older Dell Inspiron M731R with the 17.3 inch screen... its been around for about 7 years now, and I was thinking of upgrading the motherboard so I could have a better processor, and ultimately upgrade the RAM and HDD to a SSD.

My question for those of you who are better at this than I is: Do you have any recommendations on a motherboard that would fit this computer? I've been looking around but I'm honestly just lost when it comes to this.

Are we talking about laptop ?

I think it is impossible to change the motherboard / processor (the processor is soldered with the Mboard). The only thing you can do is upgrade the RAM (Max supported 8 GB) and SSD.
