Install CPU fan without backplate?

Long story short: i can't install my CPU fan if i use the backplate.
Can i install my EVO 212 without any backplate?

NO. You need to install the backplate to have something for the cooler mounting to screw into. It also prevents damage to the board from flexing.

But how can i then ever mount my cpu fan? With the stock one im getting temps around 100 degrees!...

You remove the motherboard from the case, install the backer plate (some cases have a hole in the motherboard tray to allow you to do this without removing the motherboard) and reinstall the motherboard.
