Install Ethernet Driver Through USB?

Hey TH! So i just built my PC and i am looking to install my drivers, but i cant even get online yet on my new pc because it doesnt have ethernet drivers. I only have a USB could i do it through there? Its a MSI z97 Gaming 5 motherboard, and when i go to the website and go to drivers, there is like a dozen different downloads. Do i only need one? thanks!
Also, since i only need the ethernet driver to get online, can i just install the ethernet one? Which driver would i have to download for just the ethernet?

The motherboard came with a dvd disk . The drivers you need are on that disk

But even if you dont install from it then windows will have a generic driver that will/should let you connect

USB install would be just the same as DVD install, or for that matter, installing from a downloaded file. A file is a file is a file.

You probably only need 1 driver, and MAYBE an optional toolkit.

You are correct , but why download anything when you have the correct file already, and cant even work out which one to download?

Because there was a hole in my brain where the mobo DVD was.

Then its still easy enough to copy the files from the dvd to a usb stick using another computer .........like the one the OP is using to post on the mb
