Install sequence for Windows 7 chipset drivers

Hi:

On a new build, I encountered an error under device manager: missing driver for SM Bus Controller.

I downloaded and installed the driver from Asus and it fixed the problem:
Intel_Chipset_Win7-8-81-10_VER10117

However, I installed the chipset driver after installing quite a few other drivers, mostly from the Asus site.

The chipset driver installation notes recommend installing it before installing other drivers. So let me ask:

1. Will I encounter problems relating to drivers?
2. Should I reinstall other drivers that I originally installed?

Configuration:
Windows 7 x64 SP 1
Motherboard: Asus Z97 pro (WiFi ac) / USB 3.1
Chipset: Intel ID0C00 rev 06
Southbridge: Intel ID8CC4 rev 00

Most likely not.
You can if you want to but probably unnecessary. If it takes it off your mind then it's fine to do so.
