I was told that I can use a USB flash drive to automatically install a program as soon as I plug it in.

How can I do this? Is it possible to do it with any program?

I want to put a fresh install of my programs on a new computer without the program data. I don't want to do a backup.

Thanks!

Autoplay for USB is turned off by default, since Win 7 and later. For very good reasons.

However, you can turn it on if you feel dangerous:

Then, you'd have to create a batch file or powershell script to run all of the setup.exe files, in order. Preferably waiting until the previous one is finished before the next one starts.

Or...if you use a lot of free or open source applications, use ninite.com
