Hi all, thankyou for taking the time. my FIRST forum post
Specs: Sabertooth 990 FX, AMD 8350, 16GB Ballistics 1866, 5X M500 ssd's, and USB 3 W10 installer

when i get to "load drivers" during W10 install, I direct it to my usb with latest driver from AMD. no matter which raid driver or folder I select the result is always the same...cannot find a SIGNED driver.
without the driver, W10 cannot see the raid. I've spent a week researching:??:

Solution
This is confusing, The AMD raid driver is built in; all the beta's and the release version have found the raid0 on my amd test rig just fine.

Perhaps you are using a raid controller card. Are your harddrives connected to the motherbd or a card?

popatim, my drives are connected to the board. the board (sb950) has to be in raid mode to create and use a raid config. the problem is caused because the driver was put on usb stick while the system was in AHCI mode. this causes windows to see the driver as "unsigned" and there is no option anymore to allow "unsigned" drivers at the pre-kernel part of the install.
From what I've been reading, I need to "slipstream" the driver into the W10 installer. then the driver will already be there, it will see the raid and i can continue with the install.
I cant use any workarounds that some can because I need the XOM calculations for RAID 5

forgot to mention it's W10 64biit

I'll see if I can dig up another disk and run a raid 5.
Win10 home and pro 64 bit have the raid driver built in and nothing extra is needed, at least for a raid0. I re-tested this again last night. All the driver are from and signed by Microsoft and I used my usb flash drive which was created on my laptop which runs ahci mode.

Can you clarify this? "the driver was put on usb stick while the system was in AHCI mode" - It sounds as if you already slipstreamed a driver in, which I do not believe you had to do.

thanks popatim, GREATLY appreciate. to clarify, I'm using 2 usb drives. the W10 installer is on a 32GB mushkin enhanced 3.0, and the amd chipset driver is on a 16GB sandisk cruzer 2.0. both were setup with my system in ahci mode, with W7 64 home premium. Installer seems fine, sees the file on the cruzer (fat32) but aborts the driver loading saying its not signed. cant seem to find a workaround.
990fx rev 1 with latest bios. driver is newest directly from AMD.
