Hello. I need your help please. I have an AMD computer with CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, Motherboard: ASUS STRIX B550-F GAMING, RAM: G.Skill 32GB, M.2: Samsung 980 PRO, SSD: Samsung 870QVO and two HDDs. If I install Windows 11 Pro will I be OK with my system or will I have a problem? I'm asking because I read online that Windows 11 is incompatible with my processor. I'm in no rush to install them, just asking to find out.

Hey there,

As the others have pointed out, your system is perfectly suitable for Windows 11. Windows 11 is arguably more secure than Windows 10, has had most of the kinks ironed out months ago, and is really stable. So as good a choice as any.

I've had it running on all 2 of machines flawlessly, more or less since the first release (Was also windows insider for testing the first versions). There are some horror stories and complaints about various things, but for the most part, I see that as just personal preferences. Windows 11 is as good as any other OS out there including Win 10.

Where did you read that? Because as far as I know that's grossly inaccurate. I'm using Windows 11 on my 5600x system and I have zero issues.
I read two years ago from a website news.

Windows 11 has a special thread director/task manager for intel alder lake CPUs but that does not make it incompatible with older intel or amd cpus.

Here is some general info on the matter.

Okay. I understood. Thank you very much.
