So i just got a new hard drive for my pc because the previous one just died unexpectedly(less than 2 years old). Now i face the task of reinstalling my os. I borrowed a friend's laptop to make myself a bootable instalation drive and all worked up until there
When i launch it through my boot menu everything looks good. I get past the language menu and when i click install it loads for a moment then i get this message
"a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing" when i click ok it says i must select a driver but it gives me no options. Im installing through a usb2.0 port because i heard usb doesnt work for some reason when doing this.
